Meet Trump! She's an A.L.O., or Animal Liaison Officer. She works with Dr Jeanie, the young vet who runs Pet Vet Clinic in the country town of Cowfork. Dr Jeanie looks after animals that are sick or injured. She also explains things to the owners. But what about the animals? Who will tell them what's going on? That's where Trump comes in.

Dr Max, who is Dr Jeanie's grandfather. Dr Max used to own Pet Vet, but now he's retired.
Whisky the cockatoo. He was A.L.O. to Dr Max, and he helped Trump learn the ropes.
Major Higgins is a mysterious cat who spends some time at the clinic. He is an expert at escape and misdirection, and no one is quite sure where he lives.
Davie Raymond is the boy who helps out on Saturdays.
